It is important to keep in mind that you have a fresh piercing and you need to take care of it.

The better you take care of it; the faster it will heal, and the better it will look and feel.

Although the piercing itself is not permanent; scars, abscesses, keloids or other marks may develop from being pierced that arepermanent.

If you have any questions then call the number listed at the top of this page. If you have any signs of infections, allergic reaction, or expected time of healing has exceeded the limit contact your physician immediately!!!

READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

Never touch your piercing with dirty hands.

Never use salves, ointments, alcohol, or peroxide to clean/treat your piercing.

To clean your piercing:

Wash and thoroughly clean the piercing along with the jewelry, moving it back and forth through the piercing from top to bottom, several times a day.

For oral piercings also note:

No oral sex until it is completely healed.

Do not drink beer as to prevent a yeast infection in your mouth.

Rinse with mouthwash after every meal, drink, smoke, candy etc.

For genital piercings also note:

No sex until the piercing is completely healed.

Cleanse piercing after every trip to the restroom.

Crest Pro Health mouthwash (no alcohol prevents burning oral piercings)

Dial anti-bacterial soap (Original liquid or bar/non-fragranced)

Sea-salt soak: ¼ teaspoon natural sea salt (no iodine) in 8 ounces warm water
